ThaiSorted is an independent relocation referral service for UK citizens moving to Bangkok, Thailand. We are not affiliated with the Thai government or Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd.
When you submit our relocation guide form, we collect: your name, email address or WhatsApp number, and your answers to the qualification questions (situation, stay length, timeline). We also record the date and time of submission.
We also record which advertisement or link brought you here, so we can tell which adverts are working. This is collected whether or not you fill in the form.
When you first arrive, a banner asks whether two optional tools may run: the session recording, the Meta advertising pixel and the Google Ads tag described below. Neither starts until you say yes. If you say no, or say nothing, neither runs and the site works exactly the same. Your answer is kept in your browser so you are asked once.

Whatever you choose, the site counts anonymous steps (a page was opened, read for 15 or 60 seconds, scrolled halfway, the questions were started or finished) by sending an empty request to our own server. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing identifies you; it only tells us how far visitors get.
The site itself sets no cookies. It keeps two small values in your browser's local storage: whether you have submitted the form (so it is not shown twice) and your cookie choice.
We use OpenReplay to record how visitors use this site — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. We use it to find the parts of the site that confuse people. Recordings are anonymous: they are not linked to your name or contact details.
There is one exception. If you submit the form, we attach the email address or WhatsApp number you gave us to that recording, so we can see what you were looking at before you got in touch and answer you properly. We only do this after you have submitted the form and asked us to contact you. If you never submit the form, your recording stays anonymous.
We also use the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel to measure how our adverts perform. With your consent it records that you viewed the page, that you started and completed the four questions, and that you sent the form. When you send the form, the same event is also reported to Meta from our server, with your email address hashed so Meta cannot read it, and a shared reference number so the two reports count as one. Nothing goes to Meta if you declined the banner.
With the same consent, the Google Ads tag records whether a visit that came from a Google advert ended in a form being sent. It does not receive your answers or your contact details. Nothing loads from Google if you declined the banner.

Your data is used to send you your personalised Bangkok relocation guide and to follow up with relevant information based on your stated situation. We do not sell it and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
When you submit the form we do tell Meta (Facebook) that a submission happened, so we can measure which adverts are working. That signal does not include your name or contact details.
Form submissions are processed directly and your data is not shared with third-party form processors. If you choose to use a referred service (insurance, property, legal), we will share your name and contact details with that provider — only with your explicit consent at the time of referral.
We use these service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Zoho Mail and Resend (email), OpenReplay (session recording, as described above) and Meta and Google (advertising measurement).
We do not sell your data to any third party.
We earn referral fees from insurance providers, property agents, legal firms, and the Thailand Privilege Visa programme when you proceed to use their services. This does not affect the price you pay. Your relocation guide is free and we are not paid for providing it.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — including any session recording linked to your contact details. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@thaisorted.co.uk.
Your data is retained for up to 24 months from submission, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.
